Shannon Foster, Charcoal Artist.

Hi, I'm Shannon.   I'm a charcoal artist, who lives in Newcastle Australia.  There is no shortage of inspiration here.   I love to draw, and bring life to even the most simpliest of designs - to allow you to feel the emotion in each scene.  After fifteen years, I feel that I am at a place now to share my art to the world and I hope that this evokes emotion in you as well. 

Each one of my pieces is drawn in pencil and charcoal.   Obviously I love charcoal, but the truth is I am legally blind - and I can't see any other colour.   Diagnosed with Rod Monochromatism from birth, I have taken what I have been given and seen the beauty in the world without color.   Hopefully you will too, and join me on this journey.
